Nirmalam Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Nirmalam, we are committed to delivering purity to your doorstep. If your order doesn’t meet our high standards, our policy ensures a quick and seamless resolution. 

1. Returns & Exchanges

You have a 48 hours window from the date of delivery to request an exchange or return. To be eligible, the item must be unused, unsealed, and in its original packaging.  However, Nirmalam will enquire about this and take action against it.

We accept returns or exchanges exclusively in the following cases:

  • The product arrived is the wrong item.
  • The product seal was broken or tampered with at the time of delivery.
  • The product was expired upon arrival.

How to Proceed :

  • Documentation : Please keep your original invoice ready; it must be presented during the return pickup. It will be mandatory to provide product images / videos in case of damages, in the email.
  • Item return request shall be subject to approval by the company after due verification.
  • Once used or opened, products become ineligible for return or exchange
  • Pickup : Once accepted, we will schedule a pickup from the original delivery address and notify you of the date.
  • Timeline : For exchanges, your replacement will be delivered within 3–5 business days following a successful pickup.
  • Perishable Goods Policy : Due to the edible and perishable nature of our products (oils and food items), we follow a No-Return Policy once the product has been delivered in good condition.
  • We will be unable to accept returns due to variance in taste, texture, colour or aroma. This is because our products are completely natural and made mostly by hand so no two batches will be identical. No compromise is made in the natural production process, use of best and natural ingredients and we will ensure that maximum nutritional value is retained
  • Products returns are subject to approval by the company.

Note: Any delivery discrepancies must be reported within 48 hours of the order being marked as "Delivered."  Requests raised beyond this period may not be accepted

2. Order Cancellations

  • Before Shipping : You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before it has been shipped.
  • Please note that once your order is out for delivery, it cannot be cancelled or refunded
  • Our Rights : Nirmalam reserves the right to cancel orders due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or issues identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department.

3. Refunds

Upon receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will notify you regarding the status of your refund.

  • Approval : If approved, the refund will be processed via E-Voucher / Gift Card/ Transfer into customer’s bank account. E-Voucher can be redeemed on next purchase at Nirmalam within the validity date.
  • Processing Time : Please allow 5–7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account
  • Refund of the delivered product is permitted if it meets the eligibility criteria or order cancellation by the Company. Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the error was on our part.
  • Refunds to bank accounts shall be processed within 7-8 business days (Subject to clearance in quality check).
  • Refunds cannot be processed to third-party bank accounts. The name of the customer initiating the refund should match the name of the bank account holder.
  • Cash Refunds are not allowed for COD orders.
  • Refunds will only be initiated after we have physically received the returned shipment. Hence Refunds will not be applicable in case a customer has self-shipped the item(s) and the package is lost in transit.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Timeline : We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 24–48 hours. Depending on your location, delivery typically takes 3–7 business days.
  • Shipping Charges : Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on order value and delivery location. We may offer Free Shipping on orders above a specific threshold as displayed on our website.
  • Tracking : Once dispatched, a tracking link will be sent to your registered email or mobile number.
  • Non-Delivery : Nirmalam is not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier partners or for failed deliveries due to incorrect address information provided by the user.
